A-OK (“we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the A-OK mobile application (the “App”).
By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
With your permission, we collect precise or approximate location data to provide real-time weather, air quality, UV, and environmental conditions for your area. You can revoke location permission at any time in your device settings. Location data is used only to fetch current conditions and is not stored long-term on our servers for identification purposes.
If you choose to manually enter weather, PM2.5/PM10, UV, or other environmental values (e.g. from a personal weather station), this data is used solely to generate recommendations for that session and is not linked to your identity.

The free version of A-OK is supported by ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers, IP address, and advertising-related data to deliver personalized or contextual ads. You can manage ad personalization in your device advertising settings or via Google’s ad settings. We do not sell your personal data.
To generate personalized recommendations we send anonymized or non-identifying context (selected activity type, current environmental values, preference settings) to Google’s Gemini models via secure API. No personal identifiers or account information are included in these requests.
We share limited data only with trusted processors: Weather & Air Quality Providers (Open-Meteo, OpenWeatherMap, etc.), Google (AdMob & Gemini), and Firebase / Google Cloud for backend functions. We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
Location and manual input data used for recommendations are ephemeral and not retained after the session ends (except short-term caching ≤ 30 minutes). Analytics and crash data are retained only as long as necessary.
The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the “Last updated” date.
